The Master Talk 2 “Dialogue with Professor Andrew Ramroop OBE: Tailor Your Future with Artisan Spirit”, was held successfully on 4th April 2022 via Facebook livestream.
World renowned bespoke master tailor from London Savile Row, Prof. Andrew Ramroop OBE, Principal of the Savile Row Academy, and Mr. Roger Kearey, Head Cutter of Maurice Sedwell Bespoke Ltd., shared their experience, expertise and insights with international audience. In addition, three Hong Kong fashion designers and academia shared their thoughts and expectations for the upcoming Fashion Atelier Certificate Programme.

The Master Talk 1, themed on “London Savile Row Academy in Hong Kong”, was held successfully on 14th December 2021 in both physical and online (hybrid) modes. Fashion design practitioners, academics, students & alumni attended the talk held by Professor Andrew Ramroop OBE, Principal of the London Savile Row Academy, who shared his inspirations and insights on the essence of bespoke tailoring and the adoption of digital technology in the fashion creation process.
Moderators were Miss Janet Cheung, Chief Curator & Project Director of the Fashion Atelier Certificate Programme (FACP) of the Hong Kong Fashion Designers Association, and Miss Elita Lam, Head of Academic Development of the Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI). They shared and introduced to the audience details of the London Savile Row Academy in Hong Kong, which is the first certified training programme to be launched by the FACP in 2022.
